First Husker Loss, Southern Miss
Wow, it is pathetic how little I've updated considering this game was over a week ago. This was a painful game to watch as Nebraska outplayed Southern Miss in every phase of the game except the scoreboard and turnover margine. My brother Josh made the game which was a blast as I love hanging out with him and checking out Husker games.
There was an awesome patriotic display before the game though where we all held up colored cards.
Everyone held up the American Flag side until we heard the rockets red glare.
Then everyone flipped the cards over, Stars east and west...
...stripes in the north and south.
My brother enjoyed the game, even though we lost.
But Beermann was disappointed in the last home game of his residence in Lincoln.
We beat PItt last week, and have a week off before playing Kansas.
