Mountain Dew - Pitch Black

What is a sign that Mountain Dew is making a shit ton of money off of fools who decide to try every new type of Mountain Dew that comes out? Let's review!

Mountain Dew - been around for a long fucking time, we all drink this.

Mountain Dew: Code Red - introduced cherry flavored Mt. Dew and is a huge success, becomes official enough that fountain machines begin to dispense it.

Mountain Dew: Livewire - My personal favorite of the new Mt. Dews. This is the orange flavored Dew that appeared last summer, I was addicted and then it went away. It was reintroduced this past summer and I guess I can look forward to it every summer.

Mountain Dew: Baja Blast - As previously discussed in this blog, Baja Blast is the tropical punch/lime version that is sold only at Taco Bell. Kinda icky on its own, drinkable with spicy food. Damn, this is making me want Taco Bell.

And now, the newest edition of the Mountain Dew Family.....

Pitch Black is grape Mt. Dew that is very sweet. One weird part was that the area around my ice was blue as I poured it in while the rest of the glass of it was dark purple.

It's not too bad, but it's not nearly has inhalable as Livewire and regular old Dew... that's the only bad part. Apparently this is a limited edition this, which will probably be here for a couple months, disappear for a year, and then resurface so we buy it again.

Interesting marketing strategy by Pepsi for sure.

I have a History of Rock and Roll test tomorrow. Southern Miss game on Saturday. Finance quiz on Tuesday and then Tuesday night I fly to L.A. and will have dinner with Whonder, Destroyer of Worlds, Travicon and The Laa (maybe). Then it's a Tony Hawk's Underground 2 event the next day and a flight back. Yay for frequent flier miles.
