My life - a quick catch-up.
So, things have been more than a bit crazy recently. I've been closing magazine issues left and right, struggling to get builds from game companies ahead of deadlines, struggling with the reality of being single again, busy playing games, running around with my head cut off.
I just got done watching the finale of The Amazing Race with Nick, Johnson (for the first 30 minutes), Jordan, and Laura. It's proof that good does triumph in the end, and I'm glad it wasn't a Flo and Zach finish like a couple seasons ago. I wish I could do the Luge challenge - the maze was pretty cool too.
I was up till 4 last night watching stuff on my new Star Wars DVDs. Good stuff, though the audio is a bit fucked up in A New Hope. I do like the changes George made (in general) and if nothing else, I don't dislike them.
I applied at Software Etc. and EBx last week, I'll probably call them tomorrow as I'd really like to start investing some of my week in order to make some money. Money is a good thing - and I have a lot of extra time that could very well be translated to money for trips to The Big Island, Europe and beyond.
It was very rainy today --- I had the thought as I was walking to Business Law that my prof for that class is the kinda guy who would cancel class because he doesn't want to walk in the rain. When I got to class, it was canceled and the test pushed back... I betcha it was the rain.
Also speaking of teachers, I love it when you get something wrong on a quiz but it's graded as right... Acing a quiz in college is always a minor thrill for me, given how poorly (relatively) I did my first two years in JDE classes.
Finally, I just about have made up enough frequent flier miles on the year to get elite status on United. Upgrades to first class here I come. I think it'll be fun to board in shorts along with all of the old guys in business suits.

You need to spread the wealth with your frequent flier miles and give me some. I'm broke and need to fly to Texas twice this year!
