One way to win my heart
Nebraska lost to Creighton tonight, went to the game at Rosenblatt in Omaha with Kyros and Knappster, good time. We were on TV during just about any shot involving someone at first base. Kyros was most visable in his stunning non-red atire :-P.
Tough loss at the Blatt, but I expect we'll kick the living hell out of Creighton in May (and I'll be able to enjoy beer at the ballpark). We'll also be back at Rosenblatt in June when we win the Super Regional.
About the subject of this post:
I was just watching my recording of The Amazing Race and there was a commercial from the new Baseball romance Fever Pitch. The way the main character feels about Red Sox baseball is probably the way I feel about Nebraska baseball. Drew Barrymore has an amazing line:
"All those things you love about that team, those are the things I love about you."
If any woman ever said that to me, I think I'd be swept off my feet.
