It's been such a long time
Hey all,
Sorry I've been a bit absent, between New York, Washington D.C. and driving out to Los Angeles, it's been busy. The good news is I'm almost done unpacking - and start work tomorrow. The bad news is that yesterday in this - as Skyler describes it - "God Forsaken Valley" was roasting at 112 degrees yesterday with some nasty humidity as well. The Heat Index was in the 120s, reminding me of the RV days in Altus, Oklahoma. The previous record for yesterday was smashed by 12 degrees.
Outside of that, Whonder and I have been hanging out, and I actually saw Travicon for the first time in a long time. We quickly launched into a whonderous discussion of Superman Returns. It's good to know that I'll see Travicon plenty since I live right by his work, forcing him to come near me five days a week.
Destroyer of Worlds returns from the land of Spokane today, which is cool because I'll get to see here, but bad because I now have to compete for the affection of Whonder.
I suppose its ok with my new job about to start competing with him and the 50" SXRD that's now in my living room.
That's the quick update, I hope to post some pictures sometime soon, got a little more unpacking to do.

For Johnson
You know, it's been uber busy recently with the whole move, major projects needed to get done for work and trying to go to New York here this weekend. Needless to say, I feel overwhelmed and exhausted - but I'm getting there.
4th of July was good - I nearly found out why it's such a dangerous holiday when an artiller shell blew up in the tube with me standing a few feet away - it was like standing in the middle of a firework.
Couple new favorites include mentos in a freshly opened 2 litre of Diet Coke, setting off 20 ground blooms at once, have tank wars through ammo rolls of firecrackers, using said firecrackers to blow apart old broken model planes, jury rigging 9 artillery shells to go over together - and plastic rockets.
Next year I'll have to get illegal fireworks from Mexico... "And for the discerning customer, a stick of dynamite with a package of C4 - the Al'Qaeda special!"
Ok, maybe not.
Other than that - watched World Cup Soccer (totally going in 2010), and the shuttle launch in HD was pretty nifty.
Anyways - that's all for now, must get back to other work.

Stepping up to indicate, the time has come to deviate.
