The Full Moon Show

One of my biggest goals was to get Insomniac doing a podcast. I experimented with audio games coverage way back on videogamers.com with Troy Roberts about 8-9 years ago to limited success.

Getting Insomniac behind the project though has given me a huge avenue to pull it off. The first show clocked in at a full 80 minutes, and our second one was nearly two hours long. We interview guests who don't work at Insomniac, such as Mark Cerny, or in our most recent podcast, David Jaffe. We talk to folks that do work at Insomniac about their jobs there, and we give updates on what's going on with us, as well as Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction and Resistance: Fall of Man.

The first podcast was well-received, with thousands of downloads and lots of press coverage and good feedback. The second one is over the top though. The show hit #6 on Videogame Podcasts on iTunes, and #9 in overall Games and Hobbies podcasts. It's very gratifying to have produced and edited a great show like this, and I'm excited about bringing more great content in the future.

I love how Insomniac has let me take a project that I really wanted to do, given me the support to do it, and just really let me go wild. What was going to be half an hour a month is now 90-120 minutes every other week, with fantastic comments and guests. It just doesn't get any better.
